Students win top prizes at the Asia Cup Moot Court competition 2016

Two Yale-NUS students, Ong Chee Yeow and Charlotte Wang (Class of 2017) were part of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Law team at the Asia Cup Moot Court competition, which clinched Best Overall Team and Best Memorial this year.

Chee Yeow and Charlotte are from the inaugural batch of students enrolled in the Double Degree Programme with Law, a programme offered jointly by Yale-NUS College and NUS Law.

The Asia Cup Moot is a regional moot court competition hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs that attracts teams from law schools all around Asia. This is the third time NUS Law has won since the Cup started 19 years ago. Its previous victory was in 2005.
