Dr Zhang Jianlin is a passionate educator with more than 20 years of teaching and educational leadership experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr Zhang started his teaching career as a class teacher for Economics for Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Since then, he has taught a wide range of courses in the fields of economics, finance, and management to more than 10,000 students. Dr Zhang enjoys bringing life into the classroom and is particularly good at making abstract concepts concrete to students through innovative pedagogies such as classroom experiments.
Dr Zhang graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management with First Class Honours from the University of London (top graduate worldwide), a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) (awarded the LSE External Scholarship, full scholarship) and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the National University of Singapore (NUS) (awarded the NUS Research Scholarship, full scholarship).
