Faculty

Faculty
The members of our inaugural faculty have been recruited internationally. Besides the United States and Singapore, they hail from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, Spain, and Taiwan. Each of them is highly qualified in his or her area of expertise, bringing with them years of experience in undergraduate teaching. Instead of traditional academic departments, our faculty members teach in three divisions: Science, Social Sciences, and Humanities.

Rectors are instrumental in forging the foundations of our residential colleges and creating a conducive and vibrant residential experience for our students. They spearhead the efforts to create a vibrant academic community within the residential colleges, including developing opportunities through their professional networks for intellectual discussions with thought leaders.

Contributing Faculty have assisted Yale-NUS College in a variety of ways such as curriculum design and review, faculty searches, promotion and tenure reviews, policy development or other administrative and programmatic services. While teaching is not required, many have taught short-term or semester-length courses.

Visiting Yale Faculty have taught short-term or semester-length courses at Yale-NUS College.
