Dr Paul Gallagher earned his BA at Brock University with a double major in German and Philosophy. He later earned an MA and a PhD in the department of Religious Studies at McMaster University. He taught systemic theology from 2007 to 2013 at the University of Divinity and the United Faculty of Theology, both in Melbourne, Australia. Dr Gallagher has devoted much of his career to student well-being and residential life, holding executive positions at Queen’s College and St Mary’s College, at the University of Melbourne, and at St John’s College, within the University of Sydney, before joining Yale-NUS in 2017.
