Yale-NUS College receives gift from Yale alumna and Duke-NUS professor
As the recipient of a Yale scholarship when she studied medicine at Yale University, Dr McAdams saw the value of the gift beyond monetary value. She felt a special connection to Yale and it gave her a sense of purpose.
Currently the Medical and Operations Director of Duke-NUS’ Clinical Performance Centre, Dr McAdams lauds the Yale and NUS collaboration. She is a staunch supporter of a liberal arts education system, and strongly believes, “Whether they will go into Medicine or Law or anything else, we need people who can communicate effectively and Liberal Arts helps students develop those necessary skills.”
