Liberal arts in Asia
President Pericles Lewis visited Seoul to participate in a symposium titled “The Renaissance of Liberal Studies in Asian universities”. He observed that Asian educators and administrators are beginning to realise the importance of a broad-based education, and are turning towards a liberal arts and science education model.
