Professor Bryan William Van Norden, the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Visiting Professor in the Humanities at Yale-NUS College, wrote an article about the need for the U.S. to understand Chinese philosophy. He said that this could be an important step for the current U.S. government to build better bilateral relations with China, whose economy is steadily becoming the largest in the world.
