The Beijing show over, Donald Trump and Xi Jinping push their own world trade orders at Apec, South China Morning Post, 10 November 2017

In a report on Donald Trump and Xi Jinping’s meeting at the APEC CEO summit in Vietnam, South China Morning Post noted that the two presidents took diverging stands on global trade. Citing views from analysts, the Post quoted Assistant Professor of Social Sciences (Political Science) Chin-Hao Huang saying that the messages by the two leaders reflected the domestic sentiments in their countries, and the continued strategic competitions between China and the United States.
