Sustainable Singapore Movement: Less talk, more action needed, Eco-Business, 10 August 2017

Online news portal carried a report on the inaugural Partners for the Environment forum. The report noted that Senior Minister of State for Environment and Water Resources Amy Khor cited Yale-NUS’ Sustainable Solutions Network (SSN) as an example of community partners playing an important role in sustainability, together with the government, businesses and NGOs. The report also noted that the SSN portal featured a who’s who database of players in the environmental scene, a calendar of events, and a list of funds or institutions that could potentially finance environmental work. [The SSN is an initiative by a group of Yale-NUS students, including Jeffrey Tong, Tan Weiliang (both from Class of 2018) and other members of the student group, I’dECO.]
