Singapore Higher Education and COVID-19: An Early and Measured Response, International Higher Education, 4 May 2020

International Higher Education (IHE) carried an article (pages 24 to 26) written by Dean of Students Dave Stanfield and Wellness Manager Natalie Ang, which discusses Singapore’s response to the COVID-19 and its impact on higher education. They noted that by acting early and using a measured response to COVID-19, Singapore was able to keep higher education intact far longer than many countries. Looking ahead, they opined that higher education is likely to continue reflecting broader society and institutions will slowly lift restrictions in a calibrated and measured way, mirroring Singapore’s approach to containing COVID-19 all along.
