NUS-led study suggests mangrove forests provide cause for conservation optimism, for now, Scienmag, 26 February 2020

Scienmag and various science publications reported on a study led by an international team of 22 researchers from 24 institutes led by NUS which found that the global loss rate of mangrove forests is now less alarming than previously suggested. The success in global mangrove conservation efforts has boosted conservation optimism amongst broader projections of environmental decline. Reports noted that the Division of Science, Yale-NUS College is one of the contributing institutions for this study.
