Look Ahead 2020: Environment — Food security to take centre stage while climate change activism forges ahead, TODAY, 3 January 2020

TODAY carried an article on environmental awareness around the world and in Singapore. It mentioned Yale-NUS student Aidan Mock (Class of 2020), one of the organisers of last year’s SG Climate Rally, who said that he expects climate issues to become “explicitly political” this year, and also noted that he expects the focus of youth activism to expand beyond environmental issues to cover issues such as mental health, financial inequality and the treatment of migrant workers.
