Global Science: To the West and back again, eLife, 14 November 2018

eLife, a publication with a focus on life and biomedical sciences, carried an interview with Associate Professor of Social Sciences (Sociology and Public Policy) Anju Mary Paul, who is writing a book called Asian Scientists on the Move. The book is based on her research on the migration patterns of Asian bioscientists. The article noted that Assoc Prof Paul interviewed 119 Asian scientists who began their PhDs between the 1960s and the mid-2000s to understand why they left, why some chose to come back, and what advice they have for prospective doctoral and postdoctoral researchers today.
