Carbon Conundrum, CNA, 31 March 2020

Carbon Conundrum, a documentary on CNA, featured Assistant Professor of Social Sciences (Environmental Studies) Angel Hsu and Laboratory Manager (Field Research) Dr Taylor Sloey, as they examined the issue of climate change and discussed solutions that could help reduce reliance on carbon and tap on nature to overcome this global challenge. Asst Prof Hsu was interviewed on the issues relating to carbon emission and Dr Sloey’s team demonstrated how soil is collected from areas where mangroves thrive then studied to recreate suitable conditions to restore mangroves, which play a part in mitigating carbon emissions.
