Architect behind Petronas Towers, Cesar Pelli, dies, Asean Breaking News, 21 July 2019

The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao and other online news outlets reported that Mr Cesar Pelli, an award-winning architect and former dean of the Yale School of Architecture, died on 19 Jul. Mr Pelli’s firm was responsible for the architectural design concept of Yale-NUS College and Ocean Financial Centre in Singapore. His projects spanned a broad sweep of form and function: stately commercial headquarters, angular arts centres, a terraced-glass addition to New York’s Museum of Modern Art, the sun-drenched north terminal at Washington’s Reagan National Airport, the Pacific Design Centre in California, and the Petronas Towers.
