300 volunteers distribute groceries to needy Woodlands residents as part of Blessings-to-All Day, The Straits Times, 22 October 2017

Youth representatives from Yale-NUS College were among some 300 volunteers who distributed groceries to needy Woodlands residents. They were joined by mosque volunteers and youth representatives from other institutions such as the Nanyang Technological University. The walk was part of the annual Rahmatan lil Alamin (RLA), or Blessings-to-All Day, which is in its 12th year. Berita Harian, which also covered the event, added that RLA gave a grant of more than $900,000 for more than 50 projects in community, charity, and humanitarian projects done from 2009-2016. Chilli Padi Academy 2.0, a student group from Yale-NUS, was one of the two student groups involved in FRENZ 2017, a project that received the grant.
