This place has been “my doorway to the world without travelling”, as it allows me to interact with people from all walks of life and enrich myself with valuable knowledge. ” I’m proud to have the opportunity to welcome the inaugural batch, experience both the RC4 days and the new campus, building the RC spirit and Yale-NUS community and most of all, to see our Class of 2017 graduate. Life has been moving in semesters since I joined Yale-NUS in 2013. The vibrant environment is always surrounded with new ideas and happenings. This place has been “my doorway to the world without travelling”, as it allows me to interact with people from all walks of life and enrich myself with valuable knowledge. We encourage fun and open culture as well as foster collective creativity and responsibility which greatly help build trust within the team. ” Being part of Yale-NUS has been an exhilarating experience. Time flies so fast because you love what you do and are happy with the people you work with. We have a very diverse workforce and it's just enjoyable to learn about different cultures, all just within the workplace. Of course working with a diverse set of people with different views can also be challenging, however having the passion to learn and not only listen but empathise greatly helps. These are key traits that embody the people at Yale-NUS. We encourage fun and open culture as well as foster collective creativity and responsibility which greatly help build trust within the team. I know I have found real friends I can keep! Another wonderful thing about working here is that people are very supportive of each individual's career and personal development to improve one's self. After all, we are Yale-NUS, a community of learning.
