Dr Willem van den Boom received his BSc from University College Roosevelt, a liberal arts college of Utrecht University, and his PhD in statistics from Duke University. He is a Research Fellow at the Department of Statistics and Applied Probability of the National University of Singapore and at Yale-NUS College.
Dr van den Boom is a statistician. His research focuses on scalable computational methods for statistics, with a special interest in Bayesian statistics, and electronic medical records analysis in close collaboration with clinicians.
