Dr Lam Wing Tung obtained his BSc and MPhil from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of British Columbia and joined Yale-NUS College shortly after.
Dr Lam believes that what defines Economics is not the topics but its methodology and the transferable skills it nurtures. His teaching emphasises analytical and quantitative skills and caters to students of diverse backgrounds.
His current research focuses on how matching, search and informational frictions affect market competition.
