Admissions Decisions

If you apply in Round 1 or Round 2, you will receive a decision on your application on or before either 15 December 2012 or 31 March 2013 respectively. There are three possibilities:

• An offer of admission to the freshman class
• Denial of admission
• Deferral for consideration in the next Round of Admissions

The last of these, deferral, means that the admissions committee has deferred its decision and will re-consider your application along with the applicants in the subsequent Round of Admissions. Deferred applicants will receive a final decision in that subsequent Round. Applicants denied admission are not eligible for further consideration for admission during that application cycle.

If you apply in Round 3, you will receive a decision on your application on or before 15 May 2013. There are three possibilities:

• An offer of admission to the freshman class
• Denial of admission
• Placement on the Wait List for a place in the freshman class

Students placed on the Wait List will receive detailed instructions about their status with this admissions decision.
